Regualr Xbox controller is way better and really not that expensive and save you a ton of trouble. You can feel how much you are braking and throttling and feel when you are about to lose it and adjust. Unlike GT Sport with the dual shock, Forza games have trigger feedback on Xbox Controller which you really need to do well especially if you want to turn all assists off. You don't want to use that controller really. Hopefully this might help to pinpoint the problems, so that they can be fixed. Driving is extremely difficult, as it's a lottery whether you go around a corner properly, not go round at all, or steer into the wall before you get there. Stick movement is a little hit and miss, either not registering at all, or overcompensating. Also, the Options and Share buttons don't work, so you can't pause/quit etc.

I presser R1 once on the home screen and it skipped all the way across to the Progress tab, missing all of the other menu options. Same with the shoulder buttons, pressing once can cause several tabs to be skipped. Now the input isn't quite there, as occasionally it's not translated properly into the game, but I can confirm that FM7 does indeed support DS4, although it needs some more work to iron out the creases.īutton presses either don't register first time, or a single button press can cause multiple presses, and skipping over menu items (d-pad). Put the controller onto option 12, which assigns the right stick to going and stopping and that was it.

Driver installed when I plugged it in, and away I went. No third party software, no downloading of additional stuff, nothing. FWIW I plugged in my DS4 via USB (first gen, I've been using an Xbox 360 controller in my PC up until now), and it worked right off the bat.
